IDL launches WILDAH
We are thrilled to announce the launch of Wildah today. Our team has been working in the background to re-brand one of our existing brands - Fat Pixie - and today has officially launch Wildah.
Overpacker upgrades to Bottling Line #1
After an 18 month wait, we are very excited that our new Hamson Overpacker has arrived on site all the way from Canada. This new piece of equipment will be installed on our smallest bottling line.
Pre-vintage catch up 2023
We’re preparing for Vintage 2023. This vintage is anticipated to be smaller than previous years due to poor crop yield as a result of high rainfall in the vineyard regions. We caught up with Winemaker Raffaele and Assistant Winemaker Emily to chat all things Vintage 2023!
Completing phase 2 of our canning line upgrade
The final section of the canning line upgrade on our largest canning line has just been completed. Phase 2 incorporated a Fibre King machine that wraps the outer carton (16, 24 or 30 pack) around the cluster paks and then stacks them onto a pallet ready for transport.
2022 wrap up and reflection
2022 was another year of continued growth and diversification. With record packaging numbers, countless new products developed, brand new machinery and thousands of pallets dispatched Australia-wide and globally, we were kept very busy in 2022.
Launching IDL: Beverage Manufacturing Solutions Provider
As we head into 2023, we are delighted to announce that we have a brand new business name - IDL. This name change is an exciting time for our company as we move forward with our mission to become leaders in the beverage industry. The name change cements our diversification strategy as we position ourselves as more than just a winery.
Automating our canning pack off machinery
We have just invested in automating the pack off section on our largest canning line. After navigating various supply chain challenges, we are delighted the first section of the upgrade has been installed after being shipped in from France and is now operating.
Investing in efficiency and machine upgrades
We have upgraded the accumulation table for our cluster pak and carton wrap machine on our largest bottling line. After some innovative thinking with Garvey, the new accumulation table was designed and built before being shipped to Idyll from the USA. Learn more about what these upgrades mean.

Today we announce our packaging projections for the 2023 financial year. These projections are a major move for Idyll as we continue the growth and diversification of our beverage manufacturing and production arm.
Idyll's Half Year Summary 2022
We have just finished the busiest first 6 months of a year in Idyll history, and being officially halfway through 2022 and we’re taking the opportunity to reflect and be proud of our accomplishments, as we look forward to the challenges and opportunities of the next 6 months. Idyll’s Second Company Wide Team Event
On Monday June 27th, we hosted our second team event. The purpose of this team event was to show all 140 currently employed staff around our site, and enlighten them to the work of varying departments. Many staff had never experienced the work of varying departments or visited our off-site warehouse before.
Idyll's First Team Day!
On April 14th we held our first cross-department team day. With around 160 employees, an array of departments and two site locations, it was wonderful to have our crew interact and meet with one another. Learn more about the family culture at Idyll here.
Reflecting on Vintage 2022
We’ve officially wrapped up Vintage 2022. It was another busy year with a unique set of challenges but our determined and driven team have completed the harvest and crush for the year. We had an abundance of new staff on board for this years Vintage. We caught up with Phoebe, Taylor, Emily, Stephen and Blair to get their thoughts on Vintage 2022.

Pre Vintage catch up with Blair, Will, Taylor & Phoebe
As we look forward to Vintage 2022, we caught up with some of our incredible Winery team to chat all things preparation and goals ahead of crushing season. We spoke to Winemakers Blair & Will, Cellar Manager Taylor, and Winery Admin Phoebe. This year will be Taylor’s first ever Vintage, and Phoebe’s first ever Vintage with Idyll. We look forward to another Vintage guided by the wealth of knowledge from our entire Idyll team.
2021: A Year of Growth and Innovation
2021 saw Idyll complete countless projects as we continued to innovate, grow and diversify across our operations. We installed a second canning line, keg line, cluster pak wrapping machine and a second cross-flow. We grew our staff force to 140 individuals, and collected a suite of international and domestic awards for the wines we produce.
Adding a second cross-flow to our Cellar
We have recently installed a second cross-flow in our Cellar. Shipped in from Venezia Italy, this cross-flow will enable us to process more beverage products, more frequently and more efficiently, filtering up to 25,000 liters per hour. We caught up with Toby & Taylor, the project leads, to learn more about this recent installation and how this will enhance Idyll’s cellar operations.
